ROUND GUSTAVIAN PERIOD DEMILUNE TABLE

A rare, large diameter Gustavian period round demilune table with a wonderful rustic Swedish patina. This impressive table is very functional and can be utilised in a number of different ways; as a round centre table in a hallway, as a round dining table for four people, or extended with one or two table leaves up to a maximum length of 8 feet 6 inches (260cm) for seating 8 to 10 people, or alternatively as a pair of matching demilune console tables. The tripod demilunes are original period Gustavian pieces and date from between 1790 to 1810. The matching tables leaves have been made using old boards, but are of later construction.
