IMPOSING LATE 18TH CENTURY GUSTAVIAN CHEST

A very handsome and richly carved 18th century period Gustavian chest of impressive scale. The chest features a contrasting faux marble painted top with dentil trim, over a concealed drawer with vertical reeding, above three further drawers, carved neo-classical columns to the front corners, a decoratively carved apron with tapered & fluted feet, and original escutcheons. Danish circa 1780.
