A very fine example of a Swedish bureau with fall front desk concealing a variety of convex & concave drawers, sliding compartments, and central cupboard in a beautiful pale blue patina. Below the desk lies a wide shallow drawer which would be a perfect compartment to house a laptop computer, with four deeper drawers below. This bureau would make a superb, decorative home office! Circa 1820 - 1840.
