A very large 19th century glazed Italian confit pot from the Bay of Naples in excellent antique condition.
Originally used for preserving foods including anchovies, sardines & olives in brine or olive oil, these pots make wonderful decorative items that can be used as vases, hold wooden utensils, or be planted with spring bulbs, lavender, herbs etc.
