A very fine 18th century George III period longcase clock by William Nash in later paint, with arched enamel dial with decorative original gilded flower & foliate decoration, Roman & Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial & date aperture, and with an eight day movement striking on a bell. The pristine original movement has been professionally serviced and is in perfect working order. This clock comes complete with a full years movement guarantee. English circa 1780.
Clock maker William Nash of Bridge near Canterbury, Kent died 1795.
