An exceptional grand scale 19th century Flemish zinc Oeil de Boeuf window mirror in wonderful original condition, and with excellent provenance. This incredible architectural mirror would make a wonderful focal point in the home, or could be hung on a wall in the garden to reflect a water feature, table, avenue etc.
Provenance: Saved from the Old Courthouse in Antwerp, built between 1871 and 1877 in the neo-renaissance style of the Louvre in Paris, by Belgian architect Louis Baeckelmans. Please see last photo attached of the Antwerp Courthouse roof windows.
