PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY GLAZED ITALIAN CONFIT POTS

A pair of glazed Italian confit pots from the Bay of Naples that make excellent decorative ornaments, plant pots or flower vases. In excellent almost original condition. Dating from around 1820 to 1850 these beautiful pots have a stunning aged patina. Originally used for preserving anchovies, sardines, olives etc in brine or olive oil.
