PAIR OF LARGE 19TH CENTURY GLAZED ITALIAN CONFIT POTS

A pair of large glazed Italian confit pots from the Bay of Naples in excellent antique condition. These pots make wonderful decorative ornaments, plant pots and flower vases. Dating from around 1820 to 1850 these pots have a beautiful aged patina. Originally used for preserving anchovies, sardines, olives etc in brine or olive oil.
