HUGE SWEDISH X-FRAME TRESTLE DINING TABLE

Our beautiful bespoke X-frame dining table is a historically accurate rendition of an 18th century antique Swedish provincial trestle table, and is artisan made in Sweden using magnificent reclaimed Douglas Fir timbers in lengths up to 6m/20ft.

This particular table measures over 10ft in length and has been finished in a traditional Scandinavian white lye giving it a wonderful pale patina.

The legs and and stretcher retain traces of their old white and grey paint.

This substantial table will comfortably seat 12 to 14 adults.

Douglas fir was first introduced to the Black Forest in 1827 from North America and is much stronger and heavier than other firs, growing to a height of 60m or more.

Douglas is also resistant to moisture making it perfect for outdoor use as well, where it will grey over time much like oak.
