An outstanding late 19th century Gustavian bureau with stunning pale blue interior. The bureau features; canted & fluted corners with dentil frieze top, a self supporting diamond reeded desk lid over three large drawers, and is raised on square tapered & fluted feet. The exquisite desk interior features; banks of five curved drawers to each side, flanking a central cabinet with shaped panel, and three hidden/concealed drawers perfect for valuables. Height to desk lid 73cm. Swedish circa 1880.
