An extraordinary pair of George III period concave garden benches in beautiful reeded wrought iron with rare curved arcade backs and original lions paw feet. With their wonderful curvaceous form, these are one of the rarest models of Regency garden bench and all the more extraordinary to find two in a perfect matching pair! Regency benches of this calibre and condition are extremely difficult to source. They would make a magnificent statement in any garden setting; as the focal point at the end of a tree or yew lined avenue, mirroring each other across a formal lawn, or nestled in a woodland setting. English circa 1810 - 1820.
