An exceptional 2-part Gustavian period secretaire featuring a top cabinet with overhanging pediment cornice with dentil frieze and beautiful inset panelled doors with decorative swag motifs & vertical reeded diamonds. The bureau base features a slant front desk with horizontal diamond reeded panel above three full size drawers, and is raised on shaped bracket feet. An exquisite desk with excellent storage that would make a statement in any room. Swedish circa 1810 to 1820.
